“SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a national, free program offered by the Area Agency on Aging and
funded by the Federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Specially trained volunteers assist seniors and their caregivers
with Medicare questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.
SHINE volunteers can counsel from a local site in the Boca Raton/ Delray Beach area or volunteers can counsel from their home over the telephone.
